Are all three PDFCore apps free?
Yes. All included application features are free to use, with no payment or account registration required to unlock them.
Which PDFCore tool should I download?
Choose PDF Utilities for merging, splitting and editing PDF pages; OCR for recognizing scanned text; or JPG to PDF for combining pictures into a document.
Do I need to upload my documents?
The document tools run on your Windows PC. You do not need to upload PDFs, pictures or scans to this website to use them.
Which Windows version do I need?
The current installers are for Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. The required application components are included.
Can these apps export Word documents?
Version 8.1.0 does not export DOCX. OCR can recover text from scans for you to review and paste into your own word processor.
How can I check a downloaded setup file?
Open the file’s Properties in Windows and inspect Digital Signatures. SHA-256 checksums are also listed in the download file details. A valid signature identifies the publisher; it is not a promise that every document or Windows configuration will work.
How do I uninstall a PDFCore app?
Use Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, select the application and choose Uninstall. Follow Windows prompts.
